Welcome, dear Damned Ones. Nice to see you again. Hope you are well.

Now, to begin, I actually have been doing absolutely heaps of work on the crocheted lace for the linen shirt. Here’s a photo of what I have so far:

First, though, I must give credit for the skeleton part of the design. It was created by Ann Wanamaker (she has an Etsy shop in her name). Her design is absolutely marvelous and she has a lot of wonderful stuff in her shop. Very talented, Ann is.

What I’ve done so far is not really what I originally planned. I have this lovely photo:

The lace is so much more scrumptious than my rather lame attempt, but I was thinking of adding big red beads to the eyes. Will that help? Maybe make it spooky.

Now, I’m mostly done the lace for one sleeve. Hope the other sleeve goes well. But now that I have pretty much figured out what I’m doing here, it should be okay. Then I have to do the lace for the collar which will just be a bunch of the skulls.

And, because I don’t have enough to do, apparently, I will be adding another project to my to do list: a black and white striped rug. The beige carpet in my apartment is atrocious and I need to cover up as much as I can. Got the idea from Rachel Maksy on a recent YouTube video of hers: covering a floor with just myriad rugs haphazardly thrown around. Guess that means I’ll be making more rugs, won’t it. No rest for the wicked, they say.

Yarnspirations, bless them, had the yarn I wanted on sale recently and I couldn’t resist. Or, to put that more forthright, I didn’t want to resist.

Found this on Crochet Me Lovely‘s Tumblr blog and I do wish for this, eminently so:

For the Dali jacket, have started trying to decide where to put the pictures. Here are two very bad pictures (sorry) I took while playing around with placement:

And what I’m realizing is that I’m going to need many more pictures for the jacket. What you see in these terrible photos (again, sorry) is what I printed on four sheets. I do have another package of five sheets, but I don’t think that will be enough. By the way, the blue strip of fabric is the Kona cloth I got to use as picture frames and other stuff.

Lastly, I want to give a public thank you to my dear, sweet sister who gifted me these most beautiful of cufflinks:

They are by an Etsy artist named Goth Chic Accessories. My birthday is coming up soon and I’m going to wear them when I go out to celebrate. I love wearing cufflinks. I have four other pairs, but these are by far the best.

Thank you, dear Damned Ones, for your attention. Hope to see you again in two weeks.
